Structure Of The Research Center

Siirt University Women's Issues Research and Application Center Article 7/d-2 of the Higher Education Law No. 2547 with the Law No. 2880 and It was established in accordance with the provisional article 2 of the Regulation on Academic Organization at Universities, which came into force after being published in the Official Gazette dated 18/2/1982 and numbered 17609.

The Director of the Center is appointed by the Rector for three years from among the faculty members and lecturers working on women's rights and issues at the University. The Deputy Director is selected by the Rector, upon the recommendation of the Director, among the faculty members of the University who have studies on women's rights and issues.

The work of the center; It is carried out by the members of the board of directors, which consists of a total of seven members.

The income of the center consists of appropriations allocated from the university budget, income from activities and projects of the center, aid and donations and other incomes.
